Welcome from the Goderich Yacht Club. Our club is composed of a small group of boaters who call the Maitland Valley Marina their home away from home. We are a low-key social boaters club. We are not a racing club although many of our members regularly cruise the great lakes and some cruise other parts of the world. We hold regular social events in the marina (see Calendar) and occasionally meet in the North Channel during the summer if enough cruisers are present. The GYC does not have a rigid or formal structure. We are simply a group of boaters who enjoy socializing through our potluck suppers and our regular Sunday morning coffee (8:30am) gams where all visitors are welcome. We cordially invite any boaters who are resident in Maitland Valley Marina or Maitland Inlet Marina to join our club or just come to coffee for a visit. For novice boaters, or if you are new to Goderich; the club is an excellent way to familiarize yourself with the marina. Our club is located on the east coast of Lake Huron at Goderich, Ontario in the Maitland Valley Marina. For more information about Goderich or the marina please refer to our 'Links' section.
